Once again the Hawkesbury Rural Fire District is operating a stand at the Hawkesbury Show on May 9th, 10th & 11th 2014. We are asking for volunteers to help staff the stand over the 3 days. Please see the dates and times below:-
The shift times available are:
Thursday 8th May – Crews needed for setup 1100hrs.
Friday 9th May | Saturday 10th May | Sunday 11st May |

1045 – 1300 | 1045 – 1300 | 1045 – 1300 |

Also, a crew is required for pack up on Sunday at 1600hrs.
This is an ideal opportunity for those who are currently undergoing their AF-P or CSA training and require post-course hours in community education to complete that component of their assessment criteria.
An attendance register will be kept for all 3 days and all brigade members will be expected to sign on upon arrival and off at the end of their allocated shift.
Brigade members will need to provide their own transport, food and water for the duration of their shift and are to wear clean two-piece overalls and boots.
We kindly ask that all brigade members who are accepted for a particular shift leave the RFS display area once dismissed at the end of their allocated time. Please do not hang around as large numbers of members in “yellows” can often intimidate the general public. Members are free to visit the rest of the show as they choose once their shift is completed.
