There is still a lot of work to be done on the fires in the Hawkesbury district but the members of Freemans Reach Rural Fire Brigade would like to sincerely thank members of the public for the overwhelming support that we have been receiving during this tough period.

We would also like to thank brigade senior deputy, Harvey Rawlings, for his patience and tolerance in waiting to go up and fight for the cause, and allowing other brigade members to cover for him instead; Harvey is getting sick of hearing the stories from up the hill from everybody else!

We would also hope that Harvey will be putting a shirt back on soon because that chest is a fire hazard. Harvey will be gracing the brigade’s firefighter calendar on all of June, July and August pages!
