A memo from the RFS is circulating through brigades and members for discussion on new Personal Protective Clothing (or “PPC”) being touted… “The purpose is to ensure the new PPC meets current and future needs of NSW RFS members in terms of protection, comfort, and functionality, including women’s specific design and sizing.” It states that the initial consultation period runs until 01 March 2015 and during the trial PPC period. Submissions can be sent to the email address listed on the memo. Likewise for feedback on out-of-scope items of PPE/PPC and equipment.
